Brief Program Description

The  MYSIS Academy is a 3 - week long summer marine science academy funded by Fleet Boston Foundation, for 30  incoming 9th grade students from the Boston Latin Academy and J.D. O'Bryant Schools.

The program is field-based hands-on experiential learning that explores the coastal marine environment of Massachusetts.  Activities  include:
